kind of hate how capitalism has trained me to believe that having free time is a bad thing and that i need to be constantly doing something to make my existence worth anything

real fucking talk. women are people all on their own, and they deserve respect because of their own humanity not just because of being someone’s wife or daughter or sister.

Sleep heavily and know that I am here with you. The past is gone, and cannot harm you anymore. And while the future is fast coming for you, it always flinches first, and settles in as the gentle present. This now, this us, we can cope with that. We can do this together you and I.

Bi erasure is an all too pernicious issue and one that’s seldom covered in mainstream media. Even today, people (whether straight or otherwise) still get confused and persist in treating bisexuals as if they’re straight or gay depending on the gender of their partner. This bi erasure in turn contributes to discrimination, with reports of biphobia (and shouts of "breeder", particularly directed at bisexuals of colour) occurring this year at pride festivals worldwide. If bisexuals can’t even feel included at Pride, where are the safe spaces?
This article in the Advocate gives a refreshing, all too rare serious look at how bisexual people can get forgotten in the fight for marriage equality.
